Syllabus

Course content: Dependent on the subject of the postgraduate thesis. In the first stage of the Master Thesis, a literature review of the scientific area to which the thesis refers is carried out in order to form a complete scientific background. The plan for the elaboration of the Master's Thesis is also finalized during this stage.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will:

Have developed the necessary skills and competencies to conduct research: understanding and presenting scientific articles, writing a literature review, cultivating scientific judgment, formulating research hypotheses and checking their correctness.
Have built a solid foundation of prior knowledge of the field.
Be able to identify recent developments in the field and evaluate the relevance of a publication and the reliability of the results presented.
Understand the state of science and open questions in the field.
